Since 1862, incorporated in W.A from 1940, we have been leaders in precision engineered castings for Waterworks Valves, Civil Infrastructure, Mining, Rail, Heavy Industry and the Defence sectors.
Dobbie operates as a “Jobbing Foundry”, broadly defined as having the ability to efficiently handle a variety of patterns, requiring a diversity of materials, from which relatively few castings are made per order.

Dobbie has a long, established history of manufacturing/supplying civil infrastructure products, for both government entities and commercial contractors. Dobbie has been manufacturing/supplying these essential products for many years.
Dobbie’s market leading, Standards accredited, Australian made boosters are universally recognised for excellence, reliability and cost effectiveness. We also manufacture a range of municipal and specialty hydrants.
Dobbie first engaged into the defence sector back in WWII, at that time providing the U.S. Navy with specialised deck equipment for their fleet based here in Perth. Today we’re involved with so much more
Dobbie has a strong presence in the resource sector, supplying grinding media, wear parts, valves and specialised machinery spare parts to OEM’s and mining services companies throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
Dobbie’s engagement in the rail sector dates back to late last century. We currently supply a large range of locomotive componentry to varied rail service and infrastructure providers
